Product renders of a heavy duty vehicle air compressor as part of our client's line of off road vehicle gears and accessories. My workflow: PureRef (references), Blender (model), RizomUV (UV map), Substance Painter (texture), Photoshop (custom decals), Keyshot (render).
I used 5 texture sets (16 tiles x 2K; 1 tile x 2K; 4 tiles x 4K; 1 tile x 2K; 1 tile x 4K) with an average texel density of 55-60 px/cm for all islands. This texel density seemed to be a good number for detailed macro/closed-up shots when rendering 2K images.
